Things to do in Loosdrecht?

Loosdrecht is of course known for the Loosdrechtse Plassen, possible the most famous of the Vechtplassen. Water sports, serenity and quietness; that's what you'll find here. Perfect for cyclists and hikers. During Ascension Day you can sail on the Loosdrechtse Plassen, go fishing, and go hiking and cycling. But you can't skip a visit to the historic city of Utrecht either. Or relax at a cozy terrace café in Breukelen, Loenen aan de Vecht, or Nieuw-Loosdrecht.

Maurik is a quaint town in the Betuwe which has a cozy town center with a wide range of shops and restaurants. Over Ascension Day we certainly recommend you visit the Utrechtse Heuvelrug; a popular cycling and hiking region with lots of beautiful and unique locations. You can come to our lobby for tips. Furthermore, the area around Maurik is also known for its water sports options; from sailing, fishing, and canoeing, to water skiing and wind sailing.
